VibeRider Installation Instructions
The Ultimate Vibrating Motorcycle Seat

Box Contents: stimulator, controller box with coil wire, battery wires with in-line fuse holder and two short wires one red and one white, fuse, 3 terminal connectors, wire loom and these installation instructions.

Seat Requirement: Minimum of 1 1/8" of foam.

Installation Time: It's easy! A stock seat takes about 15 minutes to do, a custom seat about 45 minutes and the controller box about 45 minutes depending on type of bike. The regular time is about I hour total. The longest 2 hours.

Tools that may be required: Adjustable wrench, screw driver, pliers, wire cutters, straight edge razor blade, (t-50) staple gun or instead of a pop rivet gun use short sheet metal screws depending on your seat, allen wrench, black tape.

Read instructions before beginning installation.

1 - Have your passenger sit on the motorcycle to pinpoint key spot on the seat for stimulator.

2 - Remove the seat from bike. Starting at the back of the seat, remove staples or rivets to remove the seat cover just beyond the key spot. (see fig. 1)

3 - With a pen out line the stimulator on the foam at the key spot cut foam with a straight edge razor blade. 1" deep, 1" wide and 2" long front to rear and making two slices for the wings at bottom of hole. Run wire through cut out and out the bottom of seat, at a location that will be clear when the seat is in place on the cycle. (Some seats may require a hole drilled) then insert stimulator, sticking the tabs into the bottom sides of cut out to prevent the stimulator from twisting in the seat. (see fig. 1) Stimulator should fit flush and snug in foam.

4 - Re-secure the seat cover with a (t-50) staple gun or instead of a pop rivet gun use short little sheet metal screws depending on your seat and place the seat aside for now.

5 - Affix controller box in an easy to reach location by removing the adhesive paper cover on the back of the box. Make sure surface is cleaned. (Keep away from any moving parts or direct heat). Unit is water & shockproof, try mounting box under gas tank. It can be very close to engine.

6 - Coil Wire: (Late Models) Route the purple wire to the coil, crimp on the connector and attach the wire to negative side of coil. If you are not sure which is the negative lead, try one, if incorrect no damage will occur. (When testing, if unit fails to operate simultaneously simply move the wire to the other coil lead). Alternately this can be connected to the tachometer signal wire. On most Harley's there is a pink wire covered with a black boot about 1" long under the dash or behind the headlight or in a harness under the seat. Note: 2004 Harley models, some have a blue wire with a pink or orange stripe this wire can also be found under the seat in one of the harness. You can also get a pin from Harley that goes in the # 3 hole in the speedometer it is for a rpm gauge. On some foreign bikes it maybe easier to splice in to the coil wire or tach wire harness near steering fork. "If in despair check with your local dealer to find out which color wire is for the tach and where it can be found."

7 - Battery Wires: (Keep fuse out of in-line fuse holder.) Route the red wire with in-line fuse to motorcycles' positive (+) battery terminal and the black wire to negative (-) terminal. Crimp on the connector and attach to battery. Make sure you have access to the in-line fuse.

8 - Place the seat next to motorcycle and route the wire from stimulator to the controller box. Connect red wire to the short red wire on controller box and the white wire to the short white wire on controller box. Put fuse into in-line fuse holder and turn the controller box on, the light should go on. Press the "turbo" button to test. This should cause the stimulator to operate at full speed. Turn controller box off. Place the seat back on the motorcycle, making sure you have access to the fuse. "Turbo" mode can be used at any time.

9 - Start bike & warm-up engine. Turn the controller box on. While the bike is at an idle, put finger on stimulator and turn the synchronizer adjuster knob until there is a minimal pulsation then while holding your rpm's at max cruising rpm's, press the "turbo" button to assure the stimulator is at its full speed. You should feel no change.
